The coverage board
Eight districts are named on the board at the counter, each with a note about getting a vehicle there or collecting one from it. The plan beside them is a key, not a map.
Districts on the board
- 01Strip District The workshop's own block and the streets either side of it.
- 02Lawrenceville Reached along Butler Street. Parking near the unit is on the street.
- 03Bloomfield A short run along Liberty Avenue from the counter.
- 04Polish Hill Steep approaches. A low vehicle is noted at the counter when the job is written down.
- 05North Shore Across the Allegheny. Collection and return are arranged in advance.
- 06Oakland Campus traffic is heaviest in the middle of the day.
- 07South Side Flats Across the Monongahela. Arranged the day before rather than on the day.
- 08Shadyside The furthest district named on the board.
The board names districts, not distances. Collection and return outside the immediate streets are arranged in advance at the counter, and no timing is promised on this page or on the board itself.
The board lists the districts currently covered by the collection and return arrangement. Enquiries outside them are considered individually before any travel or timing is agreed.
