How the workshop works

A job is written down before it is started. The scope is agreed at the counter, the price is stated against that scope, and anything found on the ramp is brought back to the counter before it is added. A price that begins with “from” is a floor and is confirmed in an estimate.

From the floor

Three photographs from the workshop, each captioned with the service it belongs to.

  • A bench vice clamped to the edge of a workshop bench.
Inspection bench: the vice is set before workshop measurements and service notes are recorded.
  • An open engine bay with components exposed during a mechanical check.
A diagnostic inspection starts with what can be seen, before a single code is read.
  • A wheel and suspension assembly showing wear on a lifted vehicle.
Suspension and tyre wear is recorded during the road test and written up.

  • Hands drawing the dipstick from an engine at an open bonnet.

    Otis Brennan

    Maintenance technician

Handles routine fluid and battery checks, records what was used and flags observations outside the agreed service.

What customers wrote

  • The diagnostic inspection began with the symptoms written down clearly. The technician explained what the published price covered and when a separate repair estimate would be needed.

    Noor L.

  • The brake inspection covered measurement and visible condition rather than an automatic repair. The recorded pad and disc measurements were handed back before any next step was discussed.

    Hugo A.

  • The battery test stayed within the published scope. Charging output and battery condition were explained separately, with no replacement treated as a foregone conclusion.

Asked often

How should a visitor choose a service?

Start with the service descriptions and prices. Contact the business when two options appear equally suitable.

Are the displayed prices final?

Published prices apply to the stated scope. Any “from” or custom price requires a confirmed estimate before work begins.

What should a first-time visitor prepare?

Provide the property type, a concise description of the issue and safe access information. Do not attempt a hazardous repair before the visit.

Can a visitor request a specific staff member?

Yes. Use the contact form to name a preferred staff member; availability is confirmed separately.

Describe the symptom

A short description of the vehicle and what it is doing is enough to have a service named and a scope written down.
