EZWebee is an independent, one-person studio. These are the terms it works under, written in plain English rather than in legal language, so that what is agreed is clear before any money changes hands rather than argued about at handover.

They apply to every piece of work EZWebee takes on unless a written quote for that particular job says otherwise. Where a quote and this page disagree, the quote wins.

Quotes and prices

Every job is quoted in writing before it starts, and the quote states what is included. A price given anywhere on this site is for the package it describes and nothing else; work outside that package is quoted separately.

A quote holds for thirty days. After that it may be re-quoted, because the cost of the third-party services a build depends on is not set by EZWebee.

The catalogue website package

The catalogue package is the one described on this site at a fixed price. It covers:

• The page set the chosen design ships with. Most designs have ten pages; some have fewer and some have more. The number is fixed by the design and can be counted in the catalogue before choosing.
• Three designs chosen from the catalogue up front. All three are rebranded with the client’s own name, colours and content, and all three are shown finished. The client picks one, and the one picked gets a further round of edits.
• The three designs are chosen at the start and are not swapped for others later.
• One deployment, done by EZWebee, into an account in the client’s own name.

It does not cover an online shop, customer logins, a customer-facing booking system, or a self-serve blog or content management system. Those are software rather than pages, and are quoted as a separate custom build.

What the client provides

The client supplies the content: the wording, the photographs, the logo, the descriptions, and anything else that is specific to their business. EZWebee places that content into the design; it does not write the copy or supply the photography as part of the package.

A build cannot start without it. There is no placeholder version of a site: if the content has not arrived, the work waits.

The client is responsible for having the right to use what they supply. Sending EZWebee a photograph, a logo or a block of text is a statement that the client owns it or is licensed to use it.

Timescales

Each job is given an agreed date range, set when the job is quoted and based on what that job involves. EZWebee does not quote a fixed number of days, and does not promise same-day, instant or round-the-clock turnaround.

A range assumes the content and the account access arrive when they were due. If they arrive late, the range moves by at least as much.

Domains, hosting and third-party accounts

The client buys their own domain, in their own name, and holds their own account with every third-party service the site uses. That includes hosting (such as Cloudflare) and email delivery (such as Resend), and it includes any other outside service a build relies on. Those are examples, not a complete list. EZWebee sets up the accounts a build needs during the one-time deployment and then hands them over.

EZWebee does not host anything and does not run any infrastructure on a client’s behalf. The bills for every one of those third-party accounts are the client’s, and so is control of them. If one of those services changes its pricing, suspends an account, or goes down, that is between the client and that service.

The demo designs on this site

The 140 designs in the catalogue are published so they can be looked at before choosing. They are shown deliberately short of their final pass, and the businesses in them are invented — the names, the addresses and the prices are placeholders, not real trading details.

Being able to view a page is not permission to copy it. The designs, their layouts and their code are EZWebee’s, and are not offered for reuse.

Maintenance and changes after the site is live

Maintenance is not included in any package. Ongoing updates, fixes, security patches, content changes and keeping third-party services working after the site is live are available separately, as an optional maintenance plan.

Without a maintenance plan, later changes are charged by the hour or quoted per job. The domain and the third-party accounts covered above stay in the client’s own name and are paid for by them for as long as the site is live.

Payment

Invoices are payable as set out in the quote. Work on a job pauses while an invoice for it is overdue, and a finished site is deployed once the invoice is settled.

Cancelling

Either side can stop a job in writing. If the client stops, the work completed up to that point is invoiced and anything already paid beyond it is refunded. If EZWebee stops, any payment for work not yet done is refunded.

Where responsibility ends

EZWebee builds what the quote describes and stands behind that work. It does not promise a particular commercial outcome: no guarantee is made about search rankings, visitor numbers, enquiries or sales, because none of those are within a builder’s control.

A website depends on services nobody owns end to end — hosting, domain registration, email delivery, browsers, search engines and any other third-party service it uses. EZWebee is not responsible for an outage, price change, policy change or suspension at one of those, nor for a site that stops working because it was changed by someone else after handover.

Nothing here limits responsibility for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

If how any of this works changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. The terms that apply to a job are the ones in force when that job was quoted.
