Six services, each with its published scope
A price with no scope beside it is not information. Each service below states what it covers, what it does not, and who it suits, so the choice can be made before the first conversation rather than during it.
-
Portrait consultation
no charge
Twenty minutes with the photographer who would run the sitting, in the studio or by video call. The intended use is discussed — a company page, a press kit, a profile picture, a book jacket — along with wardrobe, framing and the number of finished frames required. It ends with a written note of what was agreed and an estimate. No photographs are taken at this stage.
Duration 20 minutes
Suits Anyone comparing studios, and anyone whose only recent picture was taken at a company event.
-
Standard headshot session
from $220
A forty-five minute sitting on the studio’s grey or white backdrop, lit for a clean, current headshot. Covers two lighting set-ups and two wardrobe changes, and delivers eight to twelve finished images. Every delivered frame is generated from the photographs taken during that sitting and reviewed, corrected and approved by a person before it is sent.
Duration 45 minutes
Suits One person who needs a current headshot for a company page, a CV, a profile or a speaker listing.
-
Executive session
from $480
Ninety minutes with the studio lead and a lighting assistant. Covers four lighting set-ups, including one lit frame away from the backdrop, unlimited wardrobe changes within the time, and twenty to twenty-five finished images supplied in square, portrait and wide crops so one sitting serves every platform.
Duration 90 minutes
Suits Founders, partners and anyone whose picture is used at size, in a press kit, an annual report or a conference programme.
-
Team headshot day
from $1,400
Four hours in the studio or on site, with up to twenty people photographed on a single consistent lighting set-up so the finished set matches across a whole page. Each person receives three finished frames. The studio brings the backdrop, the lighting and a running order, so nobody waits longer than ten minutes for their turn.
Duration Half a day, up to 20 people
Suits Companies replacing a mismatched set of staff pictures, and any team whose page currently shows twelve different backgrounds.
-
Re-generation session
$95
A thirty-minute appointment worked from a sitting the studio already holds. New variations are generated from those original frames — a different crop, a different background, a different wardrobe colour — and reviewed by a person exactly as the first delivery was. No new photography is involved.
Duration 30 minutes
Suits Anyone whose role, title or employer has changed but whose face has not, and anyone who needs a new crop for a new platform.
-
Rush delivery
$60
Moves a completed sitting to the front of the review queue, so the finished frames arrive by the end of the next business day instead of the usual five. The same frame-by-frame human review still applies; nothing is skipped to meet the date. Added at the time of booking and subject to the queue that day.
Duration Delivered the next business day
Suits Anyone working to a press deadline, a programme close, or a start date earlier than the standard turnaround allows.
What happens in each of the three stages
-
01
Consultation
Twenty minutes on what the pictures are for, how many are needed, what will be worn and when they have to arrive. It costs nothing and commits nobody, and it ends with a written note and an estimate.
-
02
The sitting
The session runs in the studio on the agreed set-ups, and the frames are reviewed on screen before anyone leaves. Those photographs are the only material anything later is built from.
-
03
Review and delivery
Variations are generated from the sitting, then checked frame by frame by a member of staff against the originals. Approved images are delivered in the agreed crops within five business days, or the next business day with rush delivery.
What the studio will not do
Sightline Headshot Studio will not build a headshot from a photograph somebody else took, will not generate a face that never sat for the camera, and will not reshape a jaw, a nose or a body on request. The point of a headshot is that the person who arrives at the interview is the person on the page.
Start with a consultation
It costs nothing, commits nobody, and ends with a written note of what was discussed.
