Our Story

Two bays, one lift, and a stubborn refusal to sell junk. That's how GearHead started, and honestly not much has changed except the size of the lot.

Dizzy Malone opened GearHead because he was sick of watching friends get burned by lots that hid rust, rolled odometers, and slapped a smile on a lemon. His idea was almost too simple: buy honest cars, fix what's tired, tell the truth about the rest, and let people actually drive the thing.

Fifteen years later the shop is louder, the lifts are busier, and the philosophy hasn't budged an inch. Every car that comes through gets Benny's 37-point shakedown before it earns a spot on the lot. Project cars — the half-finished dreams and driver-quality resto-mods — get their own honest corner, tagged and priced for what they are. And if a car's not the one for you, our 72-hour return means you're never stuck.

We're gearheads first and salespeople a distant second. We'd rather talk you out of the wrong car than talk you into it. That's not a marketing line — it's just cheaper than dealing with an unhappy customer, and a lot more fun.

What We Stand On

The House Rules

01

Honesty Over The Sale

If the bones aren't right, it doesn't get listed. If it's a project, we say so. We'll lose a sale before we lose your trust.

02

Every Car Inspected

37 points, up on the lift, before it ever hits the lot. You get the sheet with the car — no mystery, no "as-is" shrug.

03

Drive It Like You Mean It

Real test drives, highway included. And a 72-hour, 200-mile return if it turns out it's not the one.

Come Say Hi

The Lift's Warm

Roll by the shop, kick some tires, and talk cars with people who actually love them.
