About

A flower bench at Laurel Market.

A small Philadelphia flower studio working to the market order, with wrapped bouquets, vase work and event flowers cut fresh each week.

A pink and purple arrangement built into a tall hatbox vase

What we take on

The work we do—and the work we do not.

Cut flowers, bouquets, vase work, events and weekly subscriptions are all made here. We do not sell silk or dried-only arrangements, and we do not keep houseplants.

Studio history

How the bench grew.

A shop front and an event bench

The Laurel Market unit took on the next-door bay, which gave us a cold store, a conditioning bench and room to build event work indoors.

Weddings and weekly accounts

Restaurant and office subscriptions steadied the week, and a first full wedding season taught us to quote against the room rather than a stem list.

A market stall and a van

Started with a Saturday stall, a wholesale card and one van, wrapping bouquets to order for whoever walked past.

How we buy

Where the flowers come from.

  1. 01

Bought three mornings a week at the wholesale market, never held over a weekend.

  2. 02

Local growers supply the seasonal and garden-style stems from late spring to first frost.

  3. 03

Everything is conditioned and cold-stored before it goes into an order.

Occasional notes

Useful updates, not clutter.

What is good at the market this week, and the odd note about ordering ahead. A few emails a year, nothing else.
