Safety without theater

Good judgment, written down.

Leash checks, pack matching, weather limits, access notes, and backup plans are ordinary parts of every visit—not promises saved for an emergency.

Before the first walk

We meet the dog, not a form.

  • Check collar, harness, tags, leash, doors, and pickup routine.
  • Walk one block together and watch pace, pulling, recovery, and dog greetings.
  • Record triggers, food rules, medication notes, vet contact, and safe entry.
  • Name the primary walker and introduce the backup before a backup is needed.

Pack matching

Dogs join by pace, communication style, size where it matters, and comfort around traffic—not by zip code alone.

Weather calls

Heat, smoke, ice, and air quality can shorten or move a visit. You receive the reason and the replacement plan.

Keys + access

Keys remain unlabeled, access notes stay separate from addresses, and every handoff is recorded by the team.

What the update tells you

Useful, not performative.

Every visit

  • Arrival and return time
  • Route or activity type
  • Bathroom, water, appetite, and energy notes
  • Photos when it is safe to take them

When something changes

  • Loose equipment or damaged gear
  • Change in gait, energy, breathing, or appetite
  • Unexpected animal, traffic, or access event
  • Any deviation from the planned visit

Bring every question to the first meeting.
