Cedar Hollow Day Spa occupies the ground floor of a converted brick building on a side street in Asheville. It opened as one treatment room and a sauna, and it grew from there into four treatment rooms and a quiet room.
Growing did not change how the spa works. There is one price for each service and it is published; there is no retail shelf; there is no course of sessions sold in advance; and there is an introductory visit that is allowed to end with nothing here suiting what the visit was for. The building is old and the rooms are small, which is deliberate: the quiet room seats six, and when it is full it is full.

The figure on the page is the figure for the stated duration. The signature massage is the only service with two lengths, and both prices are shown.

The introductory visit runs twenty minutes and carries no charge. It settles which service suits the visit being planned, and what that service costs.

What the service involves is explained, anything to avoid is asked about, and pressure or product is agreed.

A treatment can stop at any point
A guest may stop partway through without giving a reason. The session ends there and only the time used is charged.
