Four people across six services

Two stylists, a colour specialist and the person who holds the appointment book. A preferred stylist can be named on the contact form, and availability is confirmed separately.

  • A close cut being finished at the nape with scissors, the client seen from behind.

    Margot Hale

    Lead stylist

Runs the cutting side of the salon and takes the consultations where length, texture or a grown-out shape make the answer less obvious. Works dry first, so a client can see what the hair is already doing before anything is agreed, and says plainly when a shape will need more upkeep than the client wants to give it.

  • A salon interior with dark wood mirrored cabinets, chairs and a gown hanging by the wall.

    Devin Okonkwo

    Senior stylist

Cuts fine and curly hair through the week and handles most of the fringe trims between appointments. Keeps a written note of each client’s finishing routine so a blow-dry can be repeated at home with the tools they actually own.

  • Jars of semi-permanent hair colour lined up on a lit shelf.

    Simone Attah

    Colour specialist

Mixes and paints every colour service, from a single-process root to a full balayage, and takes the strand tests when box colour or henna is already in the hair. Books a follow-up gloss into the same appointment when a tone will need adjusting.

  • Two black backwash basins set into a wooden unit.

    Clara Nyquist

    Salon manager and client care

Answers the contact form, holds the appointment book and confirms which stylist is free for a requested date. Also looks after the wash bar, the treatment timings and anything that needs rescheduling once an appointment is made.

What the salon concentrates on

One stylist stays with one client from the consultation to the finish. That is why the salon books fewer appointments in a day than four chairs would allow.

Start with a consultation

It costs nothing, commits nobody, and ends with a written note of what was discussed.

New work, occasionally

An email when new plates go up on the wall or a chair opens. No fixed schedule, and one link in every message removes an address from the list.
